Abstract

The entering tone has disappeared in some dialects,ancient characters of this type having separately evolved into three other tones.These changes make it difficult to study the speech of dialects.So it is necessary to find out some ways to distinguish them.According to the differences between the speech of Xuzhou dialect and Putonghua,we can find some rules to study the entering tone.And this method can also be used to the speech study of other dialects.
