Huang Zongxi' s Methodology on the History of Scholarship

With the actions of scholarship and thinking launching, Huang Zong-xi' s methodology on the history of scholarship was forming. This methodology has two key ideas - vein of scholar thoughts and aim of one' s thought. Huang Zong - xi inherited and developed the same ideas in the works, which have the quality of scholarship. This is why Huang Zong - xi has had such status in the history of Chinese traditional scholarship. In addition, this paper discusses the social and personal origin of Huang' s methodology on the history of scholarship, and the meaning of this methodology to the contemporary development of this major - history of Chinese philosophy.
