Abstract
The paper introduced the research and development direction of the electric haulage coal shearer and stated the principle and implementation method of the real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis system for the coal shearer,as well as the fault diagnosis programming and key technology of the coal shearer.According to the features of the electric haulage coal shearer,the digital signal processor and the distributed real-time monitoring system was applied to monitor and measure the electric motor current,coal shearer location,boom inclination,haulage speed,haulage direction and other parameters and to diagnose the faults of the coal shearer.The operation and control performances and the safety reliability of the coal shearer was obviously improved.
