China Model:Its Evolution and International Background of Cold War & Post-cold War

China's new era of Reform and Opening Up coincides with the Cold War Era,and then the Post-cold War Era in the world.China’s timely reform and development contributed much not only to the ending of Cold War,but also to the abandonment of outmoded China Model theory.China’s reform protected it from the Domino Effect caused by radical changes in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe,which led to the initial probe of China Model.Despite of the still strong influence of Cold War Mentality,in this Post-cold War Era,the sprouting of China Model theory presages the world’s harmony.Despite this,the fact that China Model theory is often mixed with China Threat theory well proves the complexity of international environment.Thus,Chinese scholars are to shoulder the responsibilities of balancing their views with that of Western scholars’ in their study of China Model.
