Abstract

Objective To understand the status of sleep quality among senior high school students. Methods 1227 senior high school students were surveyed by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).Results There was 27.2% of the students had sleep problems, especially in the factors of daytime dysfunction, sleep time, subjective sleep quality and sleep latency.Significant differences existed in sleep time(p0.05) and daytime dysfunction(p0.01) in sex;Significant differences existed in sleep latency(p0.001),sleep time(p0.001) and daytime dysfunction(p0.05) in grades;Students living in school and from rural had significant sleep problems.Significant differences existed in subjective sleep quality(p0.001),sleep latency(p0.001)and total sleep quality(p0.05)whether students were only-children.Conclusion There were sleep problems of senior high school students.Measures should be taken to improve sleep quality.
