Distribution and conservation of important protected mammals in Shaanxi Province

Shaanxi Province is stretched over north and south of Qinling, it is the important distribution for the wildlife in our country. 148 wild species of mammalia have been found in Shaanxi. Among them,7 and 16 species belong respectively to the first-and second-ranked protected wildlife of national importance of China, and Budorcas taxicolor, Nemorhaedus goral, Martes flavigula et al are relatively rich in the resources; 12 species of mammalia belong to the regional important protected wildlife of Shaanxi Province, Among them, Arctonyx collarix, Munticus reevesi, Elaphodus cephalophus,and Capreolus capreolus et al are relatively rich in the resources. The oriental species are obviously rich in the resources. This paper has explained the distribution and conservation of important protected mammals and a series of concervation measures are put forth in mammal resources.
