Abstract
Chitosan-Zn and chitosan-Cu complexes were synthesized. The effect of degree of deacetylation and temperature on the metal content was studied. The property of slow release,anti-bacteria and anti-oxidation of products were measured. The results showed that the release rate of complexes in artificial seawater was 0.76%in 15d.It presented the outstanding property of slow release of the complexes.Chitosan-Zn and chitosan-Cu complexes showed significant effect against Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus tetragenus. The anti-bacteria rate of complexes was 55%at 10th day.The inhibition rate increased with the increasing of concentration of complexes, and CTS-Cu(Ⅱ)complex showed the highest inhibition activity than CTS-Zn(Ⅱ).
