Abstract
Purpose:To discuss the characteristic of the signal intensity change in benign and malignant breast diseases by dynamic-enhanced MR.Methods:Seventy-two patients confirmed by operation and pathology were observed.Between the benign and malignant lesions, the mean signal intensity on conventional MRI,the time-signal intensity curve on dynamic enhanced MRI,the early enhancement rate and the peak enhanced rate were compared. Results:There was no significant difference of the signal intensity between the benign and the malignant disease on conventional MRI.For the time-signal intensity curve,78.9% of benign diseases were type I and 79.4% of malignant disease were type III.The sensitivity of diagnosis of breast cancer by MRI is 94.11%,and the specificity is 79.41%,and the false positive rate is 0.08%.The early signal intensity enhancement rate had statistical significance in diagnosis or differential diagnosis in benign and malignant breast lesions. Conclusion:The signal intensity of dynamic-enhanced MR has high clinical value in the diagnosis of breast lesions. In order to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis, the morphology and clinical manifestation of the breast diseases should be combined.
