Clinical Analysis of 334 Cases with Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Objective To evaluate the curative effect of endoscopic sinus surgery on chronic rhinosinusitis. Methods The clinical data of 344 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis underwent functional endoscopic sinus surgery(FESS)were analyzed retrospectively. Re-sult s According to the therapeulic evaluation criterion of endoscopic sinus surgery,the cure and improved rates in typeⅠwere 95.7% and 4.3%respectively. the cure,improved and no improved rates in typeⅡwere 82.5%,15%and 2.5% respectively. the cure,improved and no improved rates in type Ⅲ were 25%,50% and 25%respectively. The total efficiency of type Ⅰ-Ⅲ was 98.8%. Conclusion Endoscopic sinus surgery is an effective method in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis.
