Abstract
As a dynamic concept, modernization is subject to the development of globalization. The very strenuous choice and final orientation of an approach to modernization in order to build a socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics is the gradual realization of the trend of the world history and eventual merging into the world by the three generations of CPC leadership. In the times when globalization is forging ahead, it is necessary to adhere to the important ideology of Three Represents as the essential guiding principle, to take initiative to merge into the world and the trend of globalization to construct socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics. Only this can the great renaissance of the Chinese nation be eventually achieved.
