Abstract
In this paper, the important application of level degree in engineering measurement for portable theodolite is briefly introduced. And the replacement of traditional spirit level by the capacitance sensor with adjustable electrode is put forward, the detection system and the communicative junction circuit are designed and the system software is made. The result shows that this project is very useful for reducing detecting time and improving measurement precision.
