Large-scale Enterprise:The Inevitable Choice for China at This Stage——Based on "Center-Periphery" Theory

Firstly,this paper indicated that the industrialization of China is at the mid-late stage,it faced the enormous pres sure of structural adjustment.However,an important part of the restructuring is reorganization and capacity elimination,which means large-scale enterprise.Secondly,linking up with the actual situation of our country,based on center-periphery theory in economic field,the paper demonstrated large-scale industries’ advantages in economy.Thirdly,this paper de scribes the needs of large-scale economic development of China in eight levels.Finally,in the current period,our country should implement thelarge-scale enterpriseas one of most important strategies in the micro-economy,and encourage en terprises to get much bigger and stronger.
