Abstract
Song Luo(1634-1713),with alternative names of Muzhong,Mantang and Xibo,and the Master of duck-raising,is a native of Shangqiu Henan province.At the age of 14,he was appointed as an official.He served as the mayor of Huangzhou,and the governor of Jiangxi province and Jiangning province.He resigned from his post the Personnel Department minister.He died at the age of 80 in the fifty-second year of the Kangxi Emperor(1713).He was adept at poem,handwriting and drawing and was well-known for his poems in the literary world in the early Qing Dynasty.Many scholars and poets made friends with him at that time.So the study of his life and career will contribute to the research of the scholar.
