Abstract
The fundamental task of rural landscape evaluation as one of the basic jobs of the rural landscape planning and design is to establish an index system that includes economical value, social value, ecological value and aesthetic value of rural landscape. Through posting problems at present and ascertaining developmental direction in the future, rural landscape evaluation offers evidence for the rural landscape planning and design. In this paper,based on the characteristics and three stratification functions of rural landscape in suburb, an evaluation index system of rural landscape in suburb is designed. The index system includes social effects, ecological quality and aesthetic effects. Based on it, a integrative model is built and is applied to evaluate the landscape of five villages in Haidian District, Beijing City, some problems of the landscape are probed.
