Analysis of convective clouds characteristic in Ningxia

Abstract
By using the Doppler radar(CINRAD/CD) volume scan data of Yinchuan and Guyuan in May-September from 2004 to 2006,the synoptic situation and precipitation,the echo characteristics of convective cloud such as echo top,echo intensity,rainning state and their evolution rule were analyzed,which will provide scientific basis for hail falling and enhanceing precipitation.
