Abstract
According to the characteristics of the existing pipeline life cycle and integrated with the construction process of a gas pipeline,we analyzed and studied the application of GIS in the management of pipeline life cycle.This paper introduces a pipeline life cycle management system which is built and centered on management.Pipeline life cycle management contains the whole process of pipeline design,construction,operation,maintenance and scarping.The system provides strong data support for pipeline construction,operation and management,therefore it can facilitate decision-making and improve the level of operation,management and safe production.
