Abstract
This paper discusses the importance and necessity of city in carrying out the sustainable development strategy.The authors consider that it is necessary to strengthen the urban function and put forward the countermeasures such as sustainable urban land use,making urban ecological economy plan in order to carry out the sustainable development.
