Abstract
This article studies and analyzes the performance difference between a new catalyst,a toluene disproportionation and transalkylation catalyst developed by an overseas company,and a contrast catalyst,a homemade toluene disproportionation and transalkylation catalyst developed by a domestic company, based on the operation data of a transalkylation unit at home.The results show that the contrast catalyst is superior to the new catalyst in translation rate,selectivity and reaction temperature,but H/O ratio of the contrast catalyst is about two times that of the new catalyst This article studies the transal-kylation unit in a domestic plant,analyzes the feasibility of homemade transalkylation catalyst from aspects of reaction conditions and equipment performance, points out the problem which will be brought by catalyst change,and puts forward some suggestions.
