Abstract
Capillary electrophoresis with electrochemical detection was used to determine three flavonoids(acacetin, quercetin and luteolin). The influences of several important factors such as pH and concentration of running buffer, separation voltage, injection time and detection potential were investigated to acquire the optimum conditions. With a 50mmol/L Na2B4O7~100mmol/L NaH2PO4 buffer(pH = 8.00) as running buffer, three flavonoids were separated completely within 16min in a 60cm length capillary at a separation voltage of 21kV.The linear ranges for acacetin, quercetin and luteolin are 0.73~22.2,0.23~16.0 and 0.29~18.2μg/mL,respectively,and the limit detections are 0.36,0.16 and 0.08μg/mL,respectively.This method was used to determine the above three flavonoids in enthanolic extract of Flos chrysanthemi indici, and the assay results were satisfactory.
