Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of dexmedetomidine on heart rate variability of patients with type 2 diabetes in abdominal surgery. Methods 60 cases of elective type 2 diabetes in abdominal surgery were randomly divided into dexmedetomidine group and control group. After the start of anesthesia, dexmedetomidine infusion was given 0. 5 μg · kg-1·h-1until the end of surgery in dexmedetomidine group, while the control group was injected with saline. Power spectral analysis technology was used to observe heart rate variability in patients after burglary( T0),after induction of anesthesia( T1),after intubation( T2),the start of surgery( T3),surgical exploration( T4) and surgery( T5) heart rate variability: low frequency( LF),high frequency( HF),LF / HF bands and total power( TP),while monitoring the heart rate at each time point and mean arterial pressure. Results Compared with T0,at each time point of T1 ~ T4 TP,HF,LF and LF / HF were lower in two groups,TP,HF,LF and LF / HF were significantly higher at T5 point in two groups. T2 ~ T5 HR,MAP,TP,LF and LF / HF in Dexmedetomidine group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can certainly improve type 2 diabetes patients sympathetic / vagal nerve balance, maintaining hemodynamic stability in operative period.
