Abstract

Objective To introduce the research progression on role of nitric oxide (NO) in heart mediated by inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOs).Methods The data about these aspects in domestic and foreign in past years were retrospective analysis ,and the structure,function and effect modalities of nitric oxide (NO) in heart were summaried.Results Nitric oxide (NO)mediated by inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOs)plays an crucial role in cardiac dysfunction .The roles of iNOs with protection or damage in heart were disputed.Conclusion The bidirection effects of iNOs,protective and damage effects for heart depend on secretion styles ,concentration and signaling modalities of NO.
