Addenda to Liao Dynasty's Funeral Customs: Emperors' Sending Envoys to Officials' Funerals——Based on stone inscriptions of Liao Dynasty

In Liao Dynasty,every time a top official passed away,emperors would send special envoys to attend to his funeral and there were detailed regulations for the envoys to abide by in the process.These customs show that since Liao's establishment,especially in the later period,Han culture chiefly represented by Confucius rituals had been widely accepted by people of different levels,including the top ruler-emperors.
