Abstract
The author points out that Marx's labor theory of value is constructed based on simple commodity economy.The transformation theory is the bridge for Marx's labor theory of value to develop from “simple commodity economy” to the current capitalism production pattern.It made Marx's theory of value break through the limit of “simple commodity economy”.It is also the pivot of all the Marx's theories.But there are still some limitations with it in explaining the real economic activities in capitalism society,and there are still some problems worth being considered.
