Abstract

Through compatibility of superplasticizers test,the appropriate types of superplasticizers and silica fume were confirmed.Then,the influences of water-binder ratio and silica fume amount on binder fluidity were researched.Finally,the rule that some parameters influence the strength and fluidity of Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC),which include water-binder ratio,amount of fly ash,silica fume,quartz ash,Nano-SiO2,and steel fiber,as well as curing temperature,were studied.Test results indicate that the fluidity and strength of RPC can be improved with proper amount ratio of silica fume,fly ash and Nano-SiO2,especially with amount of Nano-SiO2 increasing,RPC which have 167 MPa compressive strength under high curing temperature can be obtained.The compactness and strength are both improved when the retarder were mixed into RPC.
