The case retinal detachmet and the Von-Hippel

Objective Through review 13 cases of Von-Hippel disease to summarize the relationship between and retinal detachment. Methods 13 cases were reviewed, including one Von-Hippel Lindau case. Results 11 of 13 cases accompanyed with retinal edtachment, and the other two did not accompany with retinal detachment, and the other two did not accompany with retinal detachment, and the other two did not accmpany with retinal detachment. 11 of 12 patients accepting the treatment of argon laser coagulation were cured, whose retinal detachment was recovered, and retinal hemangiomas atrophied. Only one patient's retinal detachment was so severe that it needed additional cryotherapy. The longer the retinal detachment lasts and the closer is the detachment to macula retinae, the worse is the follow-up visual acuity. Conclusions The diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of Von-Hippel disease correlates closely with identifying and treating retinal deachment correctly as soon as possible.
