Abstract
[Objective]To understand the hearing loss status among workers with noise exposure in a diamond factory of Qingyuan City, and provide evidence for implementation of noise hazard control in the enterprise.[Methods]Pure tone audiometry was conducted on 636 workers exposed to noise according to GBZ188-2007 physical specification.[Results]The detection rate of hearing loss was 22.64%,the difference between age groups was significant(χ2=14.31,P005),the difference between workers with different service lengths was also significant(χ2=10.75,P0.05).The hearing loss was not directly related with gender(χ2=1.89,P005).[Conclusion]The hearing loss of workers in this factory is serious, which should attract great attention and deserve positive and effective control measures.
