Abstract
Column is the main loading part in reinforced concrete frame structures. If the column's stiffness reduces,or it destroys completely, the frame structure will be broken, even be collapsed along with the recombination of internal force.Pushover analysis is an important method based on seismic performance design. It this paper, the base theory of Pushover analysis and the calculating steps in SAP2000 are introduced. The loading capability of the local destroyed structure with some column broken is evaluated by using pushover method. The analysis results are compared with that of the complete structures and some useful conclusions obtained.
