Abstract
Along with the increasing popularity of long-span structure, the vibration serviceability of floors is concerned.Once the problem of floor serviceability occurs after completion,it is of great technical difficulty in reinforcement and rebuilding and the cost is very high. Therefore, the vibration serviceability problem of floors need to be taken into consideration in structural design.Nevertheless, there is no unified criteria and design methods currently.Even though for the same project, the evaluation is various. This paper reviews the evaluation standards on floor vibration serviceability at home and abroad. In addition, this paper reviews and compares four human-induced dynamic load models. Finally,it points out future research direction on the vibration serviceability problem of floors, which will provide scientific reference materials for intensive research.
