Investigation and analysis of road greening tree species in Xuzhou City

Abstract

Adopting the method of random sampling,the application of road greening tree species in Xuzhou City were investigated. The results showed that a total of 90 species of woody plants( including the units under species),belonging to67 genera,35 families,accounted for 24. 39% of landscaping suitable woody plants in this area. The main problems were listed as the less application of species,shrub species used in low level,not high application of native trees proportion,low plant diversity,etc. Therefore,three improving road greening proposals were put forwand.
