Abstract
Objective To explore the Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) findings of Spontaneous intracranial hypotension syndrom(SIHS).Materials and Methods The clinical and imaging data of 8 patients with SIHS were retrosepectively analyzed. Results MRI findings included dural thickening and subdural fluid collection in 8 cases, cerebral veins dilated in 7 cases, brain descensus in 2 cases, and enlargement of pituitary gland in 1 cases.Contrast T1-weighted MR scan showed diffused endocranium thickening and enhancement in 6 cases. On spinal cord MRI,subarachnoid space showed narrow and epidural fluid collection in 2 cases.Eight patients had lower CSF pressure(60 mm H2O).Conclu-sion MRI can reveal the characteristic findings of SIHS,which contribute to the clinical diagnosis.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
