Abstract

Two retrospective methods to predict the Ms 8.1 earthquake in time and space are presented,and the conditions of use are also given.As we just discuss short term and impending earthquake prediction in the paper,the geologic structure is not mentioned.Some methods about magnitude prediction reported in the past are used in the discussion in the paper.
