Non-driver Application of Modbus Protocol Based on CP341 Module

Abstract

The realization of Modbus RTU Master/Salve protocol based on SIEMENS CP341 point-to-point communication module was focally described.In a practical packaging control system,PLC with Modbus RTU Master/Slave protocol is connected to local instruments and DCS,and data is transmitted reliably and effectively.This scheme has promoting economic significance,for avoiding the expense of SIEMENS driver module of Modbus protocol.
