Abstract
[Objective] The research aimed to study the bloom periods and optimum topping number of leaves in Qiandongnan state flue-cured tobacco-growing areas.[Method] The relationship between different periods to play and stay top of leaf number and leaf production, quality was studied.[Result] Different topping stage on yield and quality of tobacco had the greatest impact.[Conclusion] Under Huangping County ecological condition, the effect of flowers in early topping + 21 leaves to stay was the best. High-quality tobacco fields were growing in line with looks. Leaf quality was good, high yield was gotten and a higher economic efficiency was obtained. With the topping period of delay, tobacco yield and quality showed a downward trend, and the cost reduced.
