Abstract
These years, the design of multidimensional data model has become a key technology in data warehouse and on-line analytical processing area. Features of air traffic management and decision support system are introduced. Then, an improved four-stage standardized modeling method is proposed. The UML class graph is adopted in the new modeling method, which made it more clear to display the whole logic data structure and more convenient to describe the meta-data model of the data warehouse. As a result, this new four-stage method is suitable to reflect the subject-oriented feature of data warehouse. Under the guidance of this method, the data model for data warehouse of Air Traffic Flow Management System (ATFMS) is presented.
