On the Complementary Development of Tourism Economy Mode of Lijiang Old Town and Baisha Town

Cultural heritage is a crucial element of tourism in China. Lijiang Old Town, as the precious world cultural heritage resource, possesses its unique tourism resource and opportunity. However, with the development of Lijiang tourism resource, the developmental of Lijiang Old Town and Baisha Town has become into two differential patterns. The thesis analyzed the differentiation of Lijiang Old Town and Baisha Town, thus promote some suggestions on the development of the two old towns, hopefully to make integration and full usage of the both old towns' tourism resource, in order to use the original advantages of cultural resources of Baisha Town as a beneficial supplement for the development mode of Lijiang ecological tourism economy. The author focused on the ecological economic development pattern of Baisha Town, achieved the complementary development of tow old town, finally, to achieve the goal of requirements of the ecological tourism economy development, thus to achieve real benefits for the development of Lijiang economy as well as the local people.
