Practice of All-English Teaching of Medical Genetics Course

In accord with the trend of globalization of Chinese medical education,we started all-english teaching in the course of medical genetics 10 years ago.As medical genetics is a basic medical course,we were faced with a host of difficulties in textbook,quality of teachers,teaching methodology at the beginning.And with the support from our university and the efforts of our teaching staff,we made great progress in many aspects of this all-English teaching system,including teaching contents,teaching methods,and staff training.The all-English teaching practice in medical genetics grounded the medical students for their further all-English study in the course that followed.
