Abstract

The mechanical performance,alloying of NiAl intermetallic compound and methods for improving the combination of strength and toughness were summarized especially for the electric-thermal explosion directional spraying technology applied to form sub-micron grain NiAl intermetallic compound in situ and the composite coating.
