Species Diversity and Distribution Patterns of the Phorinae in China(Diptera: Phoridae)

The distribution pattern,fauna and diversity of the subfamily Phorinae in China were studied by using the method of zoogeographical region.The known species and genera in China are 58 and 17,of which the endemic species is 46.55%.In terms of the world geographical distribution,groups in the Oriental Region are distinctly predominant.The distribution patterns of genera are segregated into 10 categories,among which the Holearctic and Oriental Region and the widely distributed pattern is predominant.The second is Chinese endemic distribution pattern and Oriental endemic distribution pattern.The genera of multiregional distribution pattern tends to being decreased.The feature of distribution is that the abundance of species is decreased gradually from the south to the north of China.The endemic groups is increased from the east to the west of China.
