Abstract
Based on data from 1988 to 2010 in Jiangsu,the paper analyzes empirically the relationship between rural financial development and farmer’s income structure.In the long run,the size and efficiency of rural financial development have a positive effect on the increase of household incomes,with the outstanding contribution of its efficiency to the farmers’ incomes from household management.But the structure of rural financial development has a negative impact on farmers’ incomes.The growth of farmers’ wage income,transferring and property income can improve the structure of rural financial development in the short time,and is contrary in the long time.
