Abstract
By accessing and typical survey methods, the species and distribution of bamboo resources in Yichun City were explored. The results showed that: ① There are 201 species of 26 genera bamboo plants in Yichun,of which the natural distribution species has 62 species of 15 genera and new distribution has 24 species, dominant as Phyllostachys,Pseudosasa,Acidosasa,Oligostachyum and other scattered bamboos. The new introduced genus has 11 species, and 140 kinds.② The floristic composition of bamboo plants are more abundant,East Asia(Eastern Himalayas—Japan) distribution type has 13genera and accounting for 57.7% of the total number, has the absolute superiority, followed by 10 Chinese endemic genera and accounting for 38.5%.From the distribution of species, the floristic composition of eastern China has the most, followed by the south China, and the north and central China have the least.
