Through an analysis of Literary Principles and Criticism by Kuo-Honma,the first translated literary work in China,the thesis is aimed to explore how foreign literary theories were spread into China,and their influences on Chinese traditional literary theories,for the purpose of searching for the specific traces of modern transition of Chinese traditional literary theories.
