The Effectiveness of Flavonoids of Sophora Flavescens Ait Inhibiting Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.capsicum

Abstract

In order to study the inhibition effects of Sophora flavescens Ait on Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.capsicum,flavonoids of Sophora flavescens Ait were extracted with solvent extraction,and antifungal activities of flavonoids of Sophora flavescens Ait against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.capsicum were mensurated.The results indicated that antifungal activities of flavonoids on Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.capsicum were significant.As the concentration of flavonoids was 4g·L-1,the inhibition rate was by 95.55% on mycelium growth of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.capsicum.As the concentration was 2g·L-1,the inhibition rate was by 98.1558% on spore generation.Inoculated plants were treated by flavonoids which results indicated that the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and Peroxidase(POD) and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL) increased respective by 73.56 U·g-1(FW)·h-1,79.25U·g-1(FW)·h-1,60.66 U·g-1(FW)·h-1 and which activities were 163.1%,242.13%,259.67% times comparing with control.Malondialdehyde(MDA) content declined by 4.41nmol·g-1FW which content were 25.99% times comparing with control.
