Effect evaluation and application of safety management in nursing in operation room

Objective To investigate the value of application of safety management in nursing in operation room.Methods From 2011 January-2012 year in October to accept operation treatment in our hospital 200 patients were randomly divided into study group(100 cases) and control group(100 cases);research group to implement the security management,the control group received no safety management.Comparing the two groups the incidence of nursing error,nursing dispute was,satisfaction and nursing quality scores,and evaluation of safety management effect.Results The incidence of nursing error and nursing disputes occurred in 0.14%,0.25%,were lower than the control group(P0.05);the study group patients satisfaction was 99.13%,nursing quality score was 98.5± 1.8,were higher than those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusions Nursing in operation room in the implementation of safety management is beneficial to reduce nursing error rate,and improve the quality of nursing care.
