Identification of Different Races of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.melonis in Melon

Abstract

Fusarium wilt of melon(Cucumis melo L.) was caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.melonis(FOM),and it was one of the main diseases affected melon.Four races(race 0,1,2,and 1.2) of FOM and three main resistance genes(Fom1,Fom2,Fom3) had been described.The paper introduced a standard procedure for differentiating FOM races in USA,providing references for identification in production and breeding.
