The Technical Principle of Voice-Coil Actuator

Abstract

This paper aims at offering a theoretical basis for choosing voice-coil actuator.As a new type of direct-drive motor with special structure,voice-coil actuator is characterized by being of high acceleration,high speed,smooth force,fast actuation and so on.After a detailed description of the working principle and structural characters of voice-coil actuator,this paper has presented the method for choosing linear voice-coil actuator and spiral voice-coil actuator;it has also introduced the applications of voice-coil actuator.
