Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Medlic-S combined with berberine hydrochloride enema in acute diarrhea. Methods 98 cases with acute diarrhea were randomly divided into observation group(49 cases) and control group(49 cases).Observation group was given Medlic-S and berberine enema.Control group was received montmorillonite powder oral.3 days was set for a course of treatment. The clinical efficacy and diarrhea 2 groups after treatment were observed. Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The diarrhea days of both of two groups were as follows. The observation group decreased to 3.1±2.4 from 7.8±3.2,that control group decreased to 4.2±2.0 from 7.9±3.0.The difference was significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Medlic-S combined with berberine enema in acute diarrhea has a significant clinical effect with high security and is worthy of clinical application.
