Abstract
Objective With the help of the MR images and the computer technology to study the volume of brain ventricles in the elderly. Methods Ventricle on stereotactic MR images were analyzed from 60 healthy volunteers, ventricles were identified, segmented, extracted, rebuilded and detected. Results Volume of ventricles in the age(71~80) was(30.85±2.23)mm3,that in the age(61~70) was (31.56±2.14)mm3,that in under the age of 60 was(26.48±1.96)mm3.Conclusions The volume of ventricles in over the age of 60 increases apparently, but there is no significant difference between the groups aged 61~70 and aged 71~80.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
