Abstract
In order to reduce weight and improve engine performance,the engine is equipped with the exhaust manifold that is made of casting iron instead of stainless steel.In addition,the length(exhaust manifold and catalyst integrated) and structure exhaust manifold optimized.The 3D-model was built by UG and after shell and discretization.The design plans for different manifolds are analyzed by GT-POWER.The results show that changing of materials has a little positive effect on the engine performance but may lower weight.But,modification of exhaust manifold and structure may improves the engine performance efficiently.
