Abstract

Membrane separation technology is a kind of new separation technology which has been invented in 1980s and greatly developed in recent years.This paper discussed the characteristics of membrane separation technology.It briefly introduced several new types of composite membrane separation technology,such as membrane extraction,membrane distillation,membrane reactor,integrated membrane separation etc and their application in the chemical industry.
