Abstract

Confucius' viewpoints of poetics of the Book of Songs are reflected massively in the Analects of Confucius.In that book,there are Confucius' precise comments on the ideological principle criteria for the reorganization,selection and abridgement of the Book of Songs,on the functions of diplomatic and political communication of the Book of Songs,and on the diverse functions of moralization of the Book of Songs.We should historically,thoroughly,and accurately study,research and grasp Confucius' viewpoints of poetics of the Book of Songs,inheriting it and carrying it forward.
